Prints are $5 each and all $$ goes to the team.

Hi everyone,
I wanted to let you know about a fundraiser I’m doing next week for the team.
I own & operate San Diego Barefoot Memories, and I decided to run a fundraiser for the team through my business.
Next Tuesday, May 19th, I’ll be doing headshots for kids in the park while Mat & Rory have fun at the Calvary Soccer Club (the Knights). Rory plays soccer there every Tuesday & Thursday, and Mat goes along to help out the coach (and play a little, too).
Normally, I charge at least $350 for my smallest photography package, but I opened up a very small number of slots for parents who just want to get great individual pictures of their child, and it’s only $50 (quite a bargain compared to my normal prices).
ALL of the money goes straight into our team’s account, and if this one goes well, I’ll do one or two more over the next few months.

Hi everyone!
First of all: GREAT JOB AT THE GAME, BOYS!! Chalk up another THUNDER VICTORY!!

Kelley, Juan, and I were at the Spring Valley Swap meet this morning, and we made over $300 for the team! That along with Christian’s Vons performances will help bring the cost of our June tournament WAY DOWN! We are going to be entering Pegasus Cup, which is a wonderful tournament, and we’re happy to bring all of our families’ costs down with these fundraisers!

Our first tournament is coming up soon (less than 3 weeks away!), so attending EVERY practice over the next 3 weeks is very important!
Be sure to be at practice tomorrow (Monday) 5-6:30pm at the High School football team.

PLEASE NOTE: STARTING NEXT MONDAY, May 11th, our practices will be moving to a different field at the high school. We don’t know exactly where yet because Ronne is trying to find the perfect spot for us, but the high school is closing our normal field for maintenance. We will have another place at the high school, so just stay tuned for that announcement this week. THIS WEEK’S PRACTICES ARE STILL AT THE FOOTBALL FIELD as they have been.

Next Saturday (May 9th) the Spring League game is against the Pumas at 5:20pm.
That morning, Mat and Camden will be going up to the Surf fields in Del Mar for a shooting clinic by Coach Mario. He is the Surf coaching director who will be conducting our team’s summer camp next month (June 22-26). Saturday’s shooting clinic is 10:45-12:30pm and it costs $20 per player. It is a GREAT learning experience and well worth the time & money! Did you see Mat curve that goal around the goalie & the goal post with the outside of his foot yesterday?! He learned that yesterday morning at Coach Mario’s shooting clinic.
Let us know if you would like to go. We can get directions to you, or your son can ride with us.

Please let me or Kelley know if your son will not be at practice tomorrow.

Christian was out in front of Vons yesterday (Apr 30) playing his guitar for shoppers. Ari brought his guitar and helped out, too! The boys brought in over $70 for the team! Great job!

Sharon’s hoping to help the team even more with the winnings from her Mega Millions lottery ticket. She promissed that, if she wins, she’ll cover ALL of the team’s costs!
